Welcome to Friends of the Orient

'FOTO' events are an excellent way for local and regional businesses to exchange contact details and information in a relaxed an friendly environment, whilst at the same time sampling the hospitality on offer at Leyton Orient FC.

In the last year or so since the development of the West Stand the club has begun to build a solid reputation for our catering and hospitality facilities. The Olympic Suite, Boardroom and Gallery are all available for private hire and we are now taking booking for our Christmas activity.

This is an area where FOTO members can help - we are planning our Christmas schedule at the present moment and if there are any companies out there looking for a venue, look no further.  Orient can cater for groups of between 20 to 200 so please get in touch with me if you are looking for a venue!

There has been plenty of work carried out on www.friendsoftheorient.com the FOTO members website.  One of our member companies, Exponetic, is a web design specialist and Karl Bunyan and his team have been hard at work in the last couple of weeks giving the FOTO site a facelift.

Have a look around the site and at the same time, take a closer look at some of the companies that are supporting the club.  You might be quite surprised to see just how diverse a group of companies are part of Orient's business community.

This of course is the reason why FOTO was established in the first place, to bring together the business network that surrounds the club and to encourage mutual trade.  At the same time, several new companies have been introduced to the club and this combined with the huge investment in the facilities at the club, has helped to significantly increase the number of companies that are now involved with the club.

Which, of course, is not to say that we don't want more support because of course we do, and Friends of the Orient isn't a bad place to start.  FOTO is free to join and members receive a listing in the members directory on the opposite page and another listing on the FOTO website, which also links directly to your own website.  On top of that there is also an invitation to six FOTO events each year ranging from business breakfasts to cheese and wine evenings.
